Making Music Vocal Arts (MMVA) Announces New Choral Showcase and Vocal Theory Course for Youth Performers in Greater Milwaukee
Milwaukee, WI — Making Music Vocal Arts (MMVA) is excited to announce the launch of its inaugural Choral Showcase and an enriching new Vocal Theory Intensive Course, providing unmatched opportunities for young singers in the Greater Milwaukee area to enhance their vocal skills and musical understanding.
MMVA’s Choral Showcase is designed as a local honor choir for treble voices in grades 7-12. Unlike traditional honor choirs, no audition is required, making this an inclusive opportunity for students eager to develop their artistry and vocal technique.

Wednesday, April 2nd, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Thursday, April 3rd, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM

Cost:Â $160
Participants will collaborate with Ms. Rachel Maki, an accomplished director and music educator, to prepare 4-5 treble voice songs while learning artistic phrasing and advanced vocal techniques. Music will be shared via Google Classroom ahead of the event for preparation.
Vocal Theory Intensive Course
Running before the showcase is the Level 2 Vocal Theory Intensive Course, tailored for grades 7-12. This four-week series focuses on foundational music theory concepts, including key signatures, solfege, ear training, and practical applications to performance.
